Frequently Asked Questions

We are called by our faith to serve. Matthew 25:40 “Whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” It is a congregational event for all ages including a large indoor sale, an outdoor evening concert and kids’ carnival. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy the camaraderie of other members, give some time to the community, empty out a few drawers at home and pick up some treasures for yourself. It is also a chance to meet our neighbors, provide some hospitality and show St. Paul the faith filled community of Immanuel. Everyone has something to give to the Flea Market and Fall Festival.
  • We are happy to accept clean items in good condition such as, but not limited to, the following: Gently used clothing, jewelry and accessories for all ages; Household items including linens, dishes, glassware, decorations and art, etc.; Toys, games, books, sporting equipment, bikes, arts and crafts/hobby supplies; DVDs, CDs, video games and game consoles, household electronics; Furniture, office products, and lawn and garden items. Donation forms will be available for tax purposes.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept the following items due to liability and safety concerns:
  • Baby equipment including strollers, cribs, highchairs, baby gates, car seats, booster seats, baby bathtubs, bouncy seats, etc.; TVs and computers; Large appliances.
Please consider posting items that cannot be donated on www.freecycle.org or craigslist.org.
Yes, but please tell us about it. Sara Dreke Eyre (651.334.6061) can be notified prior to the sale if you would like to inform the Flea Market team of a donation that is anticipated to have a value over $50. We do not need to be informed of furniture donations that are expected to be priced over $50. This allows us time to research an appropriate price. If you have a sense of the items’ value, please speak with a volunteer when you drop it off. Knowledgeable appraisers will also be available to assist in determining appropriate pricing for valuable items.
Volunteers are needed to sort, price, and sell items, distribute fliers, and pack boxes to be put on the truck to be donated at the end of the sale. We also appreciate light meals, beverages, and snacks for our hardworking crew. Sign up on the clipboards at Immanuel or through Signup.com (https://signup.com/go/OPkjErB).
