August Book Discussions: Housing

Read Brave Saint Paul is a citywide, intergenerational reading program. The 2019 Read Brave theme is housing, a critical topic in Saint Paul where thousands of people struggle to afford housing. Copies of the following books are available from Immanuel’s library.

Adults are invited to read Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City, by Matthew Desmond.
Discussion: August 22 at 6:30pm at Pastor Cindy’s house (2018 Pine Ridge Dr, West St. Paul)

Teens are invited to read Burn, Baby, Burn by Meg Medina.
Discussion: August 21 at 6:30pm at Michelle Stillwell’s house (968 Marshall Ave).
