Prepare for the meal

Holy Communion will be celebrated this Sunday (9/13) during the worship service. For information on how to prepare, click HERE.

Record your part

Cantorei and Middle C’s choir members should have received instructions for a Rally Day virtual anthem. Recordings are due to Marlene by this Sunday (9/13) at noon.

Check in with Emily, parents

Parents, please email Emily with the names and ages of your children and the best way(s) for us to contact you during this school year. Deadline: 9/15.

Tell a Flea Market story

We want your memories of attending or working the Flea Market & Fall Festival, or of that exciting treasure you found at the sale. Email videos, pictures or written anecdotes to Emily by 9/18.

Schedule a coin pickup

The Flea Market & Fall Festival team are collecting your coins to support our community partners. Call or text Christine Danielson (get her number from the directory or the church office) to arrange a visit this month.

Choristers, pick up music

Chorister Choir parents, please plan to pick up your child’s music tote bag on either September 20 or 27 from 11-11:30 am in Immanuel’s parking lot. Please stay in your car and pop your trunk open. Ms. Chris will be wearing a mask and will drop the tote in. Go to the Immanuel website to log in for rehearsals beginning October 7.

Ongoing/Coming Soon

Come to virtual Rally Day

Next Sunday (9/20) is Rally Day, the traditional kickoff to the program year. We’ll have special music and messages during our virtual worship. That afternoon, volunteers will visit families at home.

Preview next week’s readings

Pastor’s Cindy’s adult Bible study (Wednesdays at
7 pm)
is still going. Contact her for the Zoom link.

Talk about racial history

In our second session, we will look at the “History of Race in America.” Before we meet, participants will watch a video by Jeff Robinson, criminal defense lawyer and creator of the documentary “Who We Are: A Chronicle of Racism in America.” Come explore how our knowledge of the past informs our understanding of the present and impacts the path into the future. Gather on Tuesday, September 22 at either 2 or 7 pm. Go HERE to sign up.

Begin your morning with prayer

Beginning Wednesday, September 23, we will offer Morning Prayer: a short prayer- and psalm-focused service to help you begin your day in calm and connection to God. Each Wednesday we will post a video of the service for the week on the website. This prayer practice can be done one day a week or several. What better way to start your day?

Donate today or at virtual fest

With no Flea Market sale, we’re collecting online donations. Donations of $20+ will get you a thank-you gift! On Friday, September 25, 6 pm, we’ll have a virtual Fall Festival with music and live “telethon” hosts to help us reach our $6,800 goal.

Join Voter Engagement team
